Parabolic Springs are an Upgradation in technology from leaf springs. In a parabolic spring the individual leaves work like springs and so reduce the demand on raw material for a certain load bearing spring. It is estimated that a parabolic spring utilizes at least 35% less raw material for the same capacity of a leaf. APIL has a state-of-the-art CNC parabolic spring manufacturing machine with a capacity of making parabolic leaves upto 50mm thick and 125 mm wide. This gives APIL the ability to make a spring from a 2 kg weight to 350 kgs.
